Momeixuan is a specialized foreign trade brand for Xuan paper and the Four Treasures of Study, headquartered in Jiajiang, Sichuan Province — recognized as “The Hometown of Chinese Calligraphy Paper.” Our paper-making tradition dates back over 1,500 years to the Tang Dynasty, and Jiajiang paper is listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Jiajiang: The Paper Capital

Jiajiang County in Leshan, Sichuan, has been producing handmade paper since the Tang Dynasty. The unique bamboo and bark fiber resources, combined with pristine water from the Qingyi River, create the ideal conditions for premium calligraphy paper. Today, Jiajiang produces over 40% of China’s handmade calligraphy paper.
